I have written before about Pearl Powder and, apparently, you can buy some real pearl powder from TKB Trading! (This is the same place from which I got my carmine and bismuth for other experiments.)
Evidently real, genuine pearl powder does not have much of a sheen to it. I wonder if the ladies who invested in it back in the day would have been disappointed by this?
